Biography

Mikael (Mike) Fall is a university educated harmonica player and composer from Sweden. He started playin’ harmonica at the age of 16 and is now touring, teaching and recording music in many different genres.
During his time at the university he incorporated the harmonica to his compositions. In his examination concert he wrote new music for the harmonica together with a string quintet, grand piano and percussion.
He also produced, arranged and wrote a jazz musical, four concerts with 10-15 musicians in pop/rock/blues/jazz genres, classical music for smaller ensembles and solo instruments and a couple of pieces for symphony orchestra.
Fall has also recieved several scolarships and prices and in the fall of 2013 he became the World Harmonica Champion in the ”Blues/Rock/Folk/Country” category at the World Harmonica Festival in Trossingen, Germany. The news was recognized by Swedens two top tv stations SVT (Swedish Television) & TV4.

He is currently touring with the band Lisa Lystam & The Family Band & a trio with Lystam & Fredrik "Skanky Fred" Karlsson.
